Nvidia driver and cuda installation on my new DELL inspiron 15 7000 series laptop

I get my new DELL laptop recently. I work really hard and spent several days to put LinuxMint 17.3 on it.

I come into a ever bigger problem when I tried to install graphics driver and cuda development toolkit on the laptop.

I finally figure it out after different attempts for days. Following are correct steps to follow to make the laptop work as it is:
1. Install nvidia-352-updates from driver manager. (Don't use package from nvidia directly.)
2. Download and install cuda-repo-ubuntu1404-7-5-local-7.5-18_amd64.deb from NVIDIA. (Don't install from *.sh file)
